ABOUT US
We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to sustaining whitebark pine ecosystems. Our goal is to counteract the decline of whitebark pine and to extend the ecological knowledge of this ecosystem and other five needle pine ecosystems through (1) educating people about the values and the potential for restoration of whitebark pine ecosystem; 92) encouraging research needed to expand restoration; and (3) providing technical assistance and grants for restoration projects.

Policy on Overhead It is the policy of the Board Of Directors of the Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation not to pay overhead costs (indirect costs or facilities and administration) for any funding or grants that the Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation awards to any agency, institution or individual. |
