The Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation consists of individuals and organizations who share a passion for the education and restoration of a unique high mountain ecosystem. Membership Categories

There are several different membership categories to choose from:

Student Level: ($25) New! students can also use Pay Pal

The Student Level is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in high school or college.

Whitebark Level: ($35)

The Whitebark Level is the regular annual membership level.

Nutcracker Level: ($75)

The Nutcracker Level is the sustaining annual membership level.

Grizzly Level: ($1000)

Membership at the Grizzly Level is a lifetime membership and subsequent annual dues are not assessed.

Institutional Level: ($150)

This category is designed for organizations such as companies, government offices, or universities with multiple individuals taking advantage of membership benefits.

 

Membership Benefits:

Members of the Foundation enjoy several benefits. Membership at all categories allows you to receive:

1) a subscription to Nutcracker Notes magazine,
2) a vote in elections,
3) participation in annual meetings, and
4) access to the members only area of the Foundation’s web site.

Membership Year:

The membership year is October 1 to September 30. Dues will not be prorated if a member joins in mid-year. Individuals joining prior to April 1 will be paid members through the end of the current year. Individuals joining on or after April 1 will be paid members through the next year. Examples:
1) Member joins on March 10, 2010 and is then paid up through September 30, 2010.
2) Member joins on April 20, 2010 and is then paid up through September 30, 2011.

Members who do not renew their membership by December 31 of each year will be dropped from the active rolls and cease to receive Nutcracker Notes (although they may still receive notices for the annual meeting and an occasional letter inviting them to rejoin). Renewal can be at any level the member is eligible for regardless of what was their initial membership level.
